Why would you register?

Registering with the Fort Detrick Business Development Office is the first step in being able to take full advantage of all the services, opportunities, and resources provided by the FDBDO. Whether you are a company that is totally new to the government contracting process, a company with some experience in government contracting and would like to enter a new market, or a company with advanced knowledge of the government contracting process, FDBDO has services available to meet your needs.

After you fill out the registration form if you would like, you can call to schedule a personal meeting with FDBDO staff, we will be able to better understand your needs and put you on the path for a successful vendor relationship with Fort Detrick.

The federal government requires organizations to provide a DUNS number as part of their grant applications and proposals. The "data universal numbering system," known as DUNS, is a unique 9-digit numbers that are used by businesses and the federal government to keep track of businesses. This data is managed by Duns & Bradstreet.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) provides the standard codes used by the Federal Government to classify businesses. You will need to know your NAICS code to do business with Fort Detrick. The link below will take you to the NAICS code search page.
